We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused Retail Associate to help bring the HydroJug experience to life in our retail store.

Position Overview

As a Part-Time Retail Associate, you will be the face of HydroJug for customers visiting our store. You’ll engage with shoppers, share product knowledge, maintain a welcoming environment, and ensure every customer leaves feeling excited about our products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves interacting with people, is passionate about health and wellness, and values strong customer service.

Key Responsibilities

● Customer Engagement: Greet and assist customers, offering product recommendations based on their needs and preferences.

● Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of HydroJug’s product lines (Traveler, Sport, SwitchBack, accessories, etc.) and effectively communicate their features and benefits.

● Sales & Upselling: Proactively suggest additional products or complementary items (e.g., Purelyte electrolytes, shakers) to enhance the customer’s experience.

● Store Maintenance: Help maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store display. Restock merchandise as needed, ensuring all products are displayed according to brand guidelines.

● Cash Handling & POS: Operate the register accurately, process transactions, handle returns/exchanges, and count the cash drawer at the end of the shift.

● Customer Feedback & Support: Collect feedback from shoppers about their experience, answer questions, and provide after-sales support if necessary.

● Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow associates and store management to meet sales targets, manage inventory, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

● Previous Retail or Customer Service Experience: 6+ months preferred, but not required if you have strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.

● Passion for Health & Wellness: Familiarity with fitness, hydration, or related products is a plus.

● Excellent Communication: Friendly, outgoing personality with the ability to explain product features clearly and convincingly.

● Reliability & Flexibility: Punctual, able to adapt to changing schedules, and comfortable working weekends or occasional holidays.

● Basic Tech Skills: Familiarity with using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling basic computer tasks.

● Team Player Attitude: Willingness to learn, collaborate, and support fellow team members in a fast-paced environment.
