Job Description

Position: Materials Planning Administrator

Location: Mebane, NC

Pay: $55k to $65k/year (depending on experience)

Experience: 5+ years of experience in materials management, procurement, or warehouse operations.

Education: High school diploma or GED required.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

Greene Resources is seeking a Materials Planning Administrator to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

  • Track inventory and ensure 100% material availability.
  • Place purchase orders (POs) and manage procurement of miscellaneous materials.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate SAP data, including supplier lead times, safety stock levels, and BOMs.
  • Oversee inbound packaging inspections for film, corrugated materials, and rigid plastics.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to resolve flagged SAP issues.
  • Monitor overdue/incomplete POs and coordinate with Material and Production Planners.
  • Manage international shipment records and register outbound shipments with the USDA.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HACCP, and company safety standards.
  • Serve as the local SAP master data owner, ensuring accurate and consistent system records.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in the food or CPG industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP planning, inventory control, and warehouse fundamentals.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Formulas, Macros preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • English proficiency required; Spanish fluency is a plus but not required.
