Electrical Engineer - In office/Onsite in Duluth, GA

Compensation: $80-100K salary + benefits + perks

They're currently searching for an Electronics Engineer to be a part of a newly developed team in Atlanta!

We are looking for someone with a focus on Control Systems, Firmware, and Software

Overview:

• Position works with Sales, Customers, Partners, Suppliers, and Management to design, develop, configure, launch, service, and support needed custom engineering solutions.
• Lead integration of electronics within the evolving module portfolio
• Create scalable electronic designs with flexible features at cost cost-appropriate level
• Develop, grow, and sustain key technical partnerships with electronic assembly suppliers
• Oversight of both design-build and build-to-print relationships
• Integrate innovative electronic controls and communication into LED systems
• Participate in developing a robust module design process, including quality and reliability objectives

Requirements:

• 5+ years of engineering experience. Electrical required.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Proficiency with electronic design automation (EDA) tools for schematic and printed circuit design
• Analog/Digital hardware design of electronic assemblies, especially power supplies
• Experience with Embedded control architecture including firmware design and validation
• Working knowledge of electronic regulatory standards, especially UL/CSA
• Familiarity with DFM (design for manufacturability) and DFSS (design for six sigma)
• Proficiency in developing specifications for engineering validation testing

Compensation: $80-100K salary + other perks!
