Job Description

Job Title: Welding Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Welding Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing welding processes to maintain high-quality production standards. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and the ability to collaborate on various projects. The Welding Engineer will be instrumental in improving manufacturing capabilities and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of welding processes.
  • Develop and implement welding requirements and procedures (PQRs and WPSs).
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable welding standards.
  • Support robotic welding programming and troubleshooting.
  • Research and assess technology, equipment, and personnel needs for the Welding Department.
  • Design and implement training programs for welding personnel.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Welding Engineering Technology (BSWET).
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical experience in welding within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of metallurgy and welding processes.
  • Deep understanding of welding principles and theory.
  • Ability to perform required preventive maintenance checks and record data.
  • Capable of working independently or within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
