Job Description

Their collaborative team comprises architects, engineers, planners, interior designers, and energy specialists, all working together to deliver innovative solutions for clients. Their diverse project portfolio spans housing (affordable, market-rate, and student), adaptive reuse, asset preservation, large-scale site planning, commercial facilities, and more.

Your Role: Impact & Responsibilities
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our engineering team and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You'll provide expert mechanical engineering services, focusing on creating systems that are cost-effective, energy-efficient, sustainable, and designed to ensure a safe, healthy environment for all building occupants.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with project teams to determine design criteria, drawing sequence, system design presentation, sizing of system components, equipment selection and system layouts.
  • Interact with clients to discuss system design alternatives and recommended solutions and work with designers to implement projects.
  • Exhibit solid technical and communication skills with project team members.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Possess an accredited Mechanical or Architectural Engineering degree and an active Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • Possess a minimum of (6) years of experience.
  • Possess advanced HVAC system engineering skills.
  • Have advanced experience working with AutoCAD and REVIT.
  • Experience with healthcare and/or educational projects in a consulting engineering environment is a plus.
