The‬ SmartAC.com team is looking for a skilled and driven leader to own the analytics effort‬ around business KPIs, actionable insights, and Network uptime.‬

You will report to the Chief Engineering and Product Officer, and will work closely with other‬‭ Stakeholders and Leadership to understand and assemble the most valuable and compelling‬ views to bring metrics and data to life. We’re seeking a person who can be the internal lead‬ on these efforts, but also cover other admin and outsourced management functions as‬‭ required for a fast-growing company.‬

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, have‬ relevant experience with business analytics and database operation, and can demonstrate a‬ history of owning the interpretation, visualization , and reporting of potentially-complex‬ business data sets.‬

Objectives and Responsibilities:‬

• Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to gather requirements to inform our‬ business analytics strategy and approach. Receive and execute specific reporting‬ requests, both Recurring and ad-hoc.
• Own delivery, timeline, and format.‬
• Leverage multiple platforms and data sources to bring data together, provide‬ cohesive cross-platform data insights to business and external parties.‬
• ‬‭Take ownership of collecting and analyzing the quality of our sensor network reporting.‬
• Develop a plan and methodology for defining internal targets, notification for when‬ specific data points fall below target.
• Track progress over time and call out areas of‬ concern.‬
• Create customized views and reports for specific use cases. Examples could include:‬ Annual Partner Review metrics, Quarterly Business Review, monthly uptime reporting,‬ overall partnership status updates, etc.‬
• Provide data-based contextual insights and conclusions to inform business decisions‬ and future strategy‬.
• Together with the Head of Software, configure a best-in-class BI platform to assist in‬ the effort.
• Serve as the lead architect in configuration and administration of the‬ platform.
• Assist other users in Onboarding, self-serving simpler reporting needs.‬

Required Skills and Qualifications:‬

• Proficiency querying data and providing analytics and reporting using SQL and Excel‬‬‭
• Mastery of SQL language and experience with NoSQL for data collection‬
• Experience integrating external data via API and other sources like Google Analytics‬
• Experience organizing and developing data lake / warehousing for BI reporting‬
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and data strategy skills‬
• Proven ability to lead, plan, and execute data analytics efforts‬

‭

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:‬

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant degree field preferred but not required‬
• Experience implementing solutions with PowerBI, Cliq, QuickSight, or Tableau, etc.‬
• Experience with CRM System integrations, such as Hubspot‬
• Experience on an in-market consumer-facing product across multiple-platforms‬
