Onward Search is partnering with a supportive and student-centered school district in Grundy County, Illinois, to hire two School Psychologists for the 2025–2026 school year. These positions are available as full-time in-person roles or hybrid , offering flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with students and staff. Location: Grundy County, IL

Start Date: August 7, 2025

End Date: May 22, 2026

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Grade Level: Junior High School and Preschool

Hours: 7:15 AM – 2:45 PM (junior high school); 8:15 AM - 3:45 PM (preschool)

Key Responsibilities:

Junior High School Setting

• Conduct evaluations for 7th and 8th grade students
• Provide direct support to students through counseling and behavioral interventions
• Collaborate with educators and families to address academic, emotional, and social needs

Preschool Setting

• Conduct evaluations and contribute to early intervention planning
• Work closely with preschool staff and families to identify and address developmental concerns
• Support early learning goals through targeted psychological services

General Responsibilities for Both Roles

• Perform comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret results
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to develop and implement effective IEPs
• Provide individual and group counseling as appropriate
• Participate as a key member of the MTSS and special education teams to support student success

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology
• PEL (Professional Educator License) with a School Psychologist endorsement in Illinois
