Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an effective compliance management system to align with federal and state regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify compliance-related challenges and emerging issues.
• Draft and refine compliance policies and procedures to ensure operational accuracy.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance regulatory awareness and mitigate compliance risks.
• Perform audits and quality assurance reviews to maintain a high standard of compliance.
• Investigate compliance concerns stemming from internal reviews, complaints, or audit findings, recommending corrective actions.
• Review and approve marketing materials, advertisements, and digital content for regulatory adherence.
• Support management by preparing compliance reports and updating leadership on regulatory developments.
• Assist in delivering targeted training programs on key compliance topics.
• Work closely with examiners and auditors during compliance reviews and regulatory assessments.
• Research and analyze new regulations, providing guidance on necessary policy updates.

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of banking operations, including commercial lending and risk management.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in areas such as BSA/AML, Fair Lending, Community Reinvestment Act, and consumer protection laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving regulatory landscapes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with compliance monitoring systems and generating reports from compliance data.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• (Optional) Familiarity with foreign languages applicable to client interactions.
• (Optional) Experience with data automation, analytics, or AI tools for compliance monitoring.
