Property Coordination plays a vital role in maintaining safe, high-quality housing for residents by overseeing maintenance operations and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The work directly impacts tenant satisfaction and the longevity of housing units, making it essential to the success of Chesapeake Neighbors. By coordinating maintenance teams and vendor relationships, they help create well-maintained, comfortable living environments that support residents' needs.
The Regional Property Coordinator will manage the day-to-day operations of the Property Management team within their designated geographic region. With a strong focus on customer service, collaboration, and safety, this role will support the strategic growth and expansion of Chesapeake Neighbors. The Regional Property Coordinator will ensure that all housing units in their assigned region meet organizational standards while providing positive tenant experience. As a key member of the Leadership Council, this position must meet the requirements of a Maintenance Technician and is considered essential.
The ideal candidate has experience in property maintenance management, including coordinating maintenance tickets, conducting inspections, and managing preventive maintenance programs. They should be skilled in vendor coordination, safety compliance, and team leadership, ensuring a high standard of property upkeep. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills are essential for success in this role, as well as the ability to problem-solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of experience supporting or managing a property maintenance team. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience in project management is preferred.
