Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to take your leadership skills to the next level? At Action Day Schools, we believe that learning should be fun- for both children and educators! Our Director in Training program is designed for enthusiastic, driven individuals who are ready to step into an Action Day leadership role while fostering a love of learning in young minds. As a Director in Training , you’ll embark on an exciting hands-on journey, beginning with mentorship from an experienced Mentor Director at one of our Infant Centers and/or Preschools. In this immersive experience you’ll receive 1:1 leadership coaching with a seasoned leadership team to master the skills needed to successfully manage the overall operations an Action Day Schools Program and create a thriving learning environment for children, families, and staff alike.

You’ll gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in:

  • Building & Empowering a Team – Cultivate and lead a passionate team of educators who live out our core values and bring our company culture to life
  • Supervising & Coaching Staff – Inspire and support teachers through guidance, training, and mentorship to ensure a positive and enriching learning environment
  • Providing Premium Customer Service – Build strong relationships with families, ensuring that parents feel confident and engaged in their child’s early learning journey
  • Ensuring the Highest Quality of Care – Maintain excellence in safety, curriculum, and child development practices, keeping children at the heart of everything we do
  • Enrollment & Growth – Welcome new families into our community by effectively managing enrollment and ensuring an outstanding first impression
  • School Operations & Administration – Oversee the day-to-day functions of the school, including budgeting, compliance, scheduling, and team coordination

Compensation: $78,000 - 88,000/yr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.

Requirements

  • B.A. with at least 15 core ECE Units required for Directors
  • Infant toddler units are a plus!
  • 3 years of early childhood teaching experience required
  • 5 years of educational leadership experience preferred
  • Must take initiative and have a "take charge" attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to multitask
  • Communicate effectively with emotional intelligence
  • A love and passion for working with young children
  • An eagerness to learn and grow!
