Description We are looking for a Plant Controller to join our client's team in Merced, California. As a Plant Controller, you will be instrumental in driving financial excellence in our operations through strategic planning, analysis, and reporting. You will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies, enhancing financial performance, guiding decision-making processes, and supporting operational improvements. Contact Edgar Gonzalez if interested 209.395.2259 Responsibilities: - Overseeing the monthly financial closing process, ensuring compliance with GAAP, statutory, and tax regulations. - Managing budget planning and setting goals to optimize returns. - Conducting feasibility studies for non-filler Capex investments and tracking financial performance. - Establishing and monitoring internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure transaction integrity. - Delivering timely key figure reports to enhance clarity in financial and process workflows at the plant. - Designing and maintaining controlling systems and ensuring the supply of necessary data and information. - Preparing target/actual comparisons, interpreting key figures, and contributing to improvement initiatives. - Assisting with year-end financial results preparation and external/internal audit processes. - Supporting plant director and manufacturing managers with financial insights for operational strategies and cost control. - Preparing quarterly forecasts to align financial expectations with operational performance. Requirements - Proficiency in 3M software is essential - Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is required - Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must - Knowledge of Eaton software is vital - Expertise in Epicor software is needed - Ability to handle various Accounting Functions - Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) - Proven track record in preparing and managing Annual Budget - Familiarity with Auditing processes is required - Experience in Budget Processes is necessary - Proficiency in Cost Accounting is essential - Knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting is a must - Experience in Standard Cost Accounting is required Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
