Our instructors are hand-picked for their credentials and ability to work with students of all ages, from beginners to advanced. Music To Your Home offers lessons in various genres including Classical, Rock, Jazz, and Pop, and prepares students for competitions, college auditions, talent shows, and recitals. Role Description This is a part-time role for an in-person Piano Teacher based in New York, NY, with some work-from-home options providing online lessons. The Piano Teacher will be responsible for providing individualized piano instruction in students homes to students of varying ages and skill levels. Daily tasks include developing lesson plans, teaching music theory, preparing students for performances and recitals, and tracking student progress. The role requires adapting teaching methods to meet each student’s needs and helping them achieve their musical goals. Qualifications Piano Playing and Piano Education skills Knowledge of Music Theory and Music Education Experience in Piano teaching Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a home-based environment Experience teaching various genres of music is a plus Bachelor's degree in Music or related field is preferred Ability to travel to homes around NYC
