We are seeking energetic, creative, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Personal Training Manager in Training (MIT). In this role, you will work closely with the Personal Training Department Managers, gaining the skills and experience necessary to step into a leadership position.
This hourly, non-exempt role is ideal for candidates looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and growing organization while advancing their careers in fitness management.
What You'll Do
In this leadership development role, you'll receive hands-on training to prepare you for a Personal Training Manager or Personal Training Programming and Development Manager position. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and Mentoring - Help your team set and achieve business goals by providing support, feedback, and guidance.
Building a Client Base - Conduct fitness evaluations, orientations, stretching, and personal training sessions.
Driving Sales & Growth - Generate personal training leads, execute lead generation activities, and help trainers build successful businesses.
Advancing Your Skills - Fast-track your growth through our comprehensive training program.
Delivering Exceptional Service - Provide personalized attention to members, educate them on proper equipment use, and ensure the highest quality customer service.
Staying Engaged - Attend meetings, participate in club programs, and stay up to date with fitness trends and best practices.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for motivated individuals who are ready to take their fitness career to the next level. Ideal candidates should have:
A nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a related field (Preferred)
CPR/AED Certification (Required)
1-3 years of personal training experience (Preferred)
Full-time availability, including weekends & holidays
A strong track record of building a client base and attracting new clientele
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Passion for fitness, ambition, and personal integrity
Strong time management and organizational skills
A professional, energetic, and friendly demeanor
