As a member of the Client team in Columbus (Fort Moore), Georgia, you will be part of a dynamic organization that values creativity, innovation, collaboration and customer success. We are seeking an experienced field service technician to join our team onsite at our customer's location. As a field service technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance of our products by providing onsite technical support for our customers. Responsibilities:
• Provide onsite technical support to ensure optimal performance of Client products
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to printers, scanners, fax machines, supplies, and other peripherals
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, alignment, and calibration to optimize device functionality
• Assist customers with installation, configuration, and user training
• Troubleshoot complex problems and provide solutions promptly
• Document all service calls and maintain records of equipment history
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate repairs and replacement parts
• Maintain a strong relationship with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
• Adhere to safety guidelines when handling electrical components and heavy machinery
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; college education preferred but not required
• Excellent driving record and a valid driver's license.
• Proven experience as a field service technician, preferably with Client products
• Knowledge of printing technology, network connectivity, and IT infrastructure
• Strong understanding of computer systems and operating systems (Windows/MacOS)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and written
• Self-motivated and committed to delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to safely lift and maneuver equipment up to 60 lbs.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
