Mechanical Engineer (5-15 YOE)

Location: Phoenix, Arizona

Responsibilities:

• Combine project management with lead engineering duties.
• Oversee HVAC design projects from concept to completion, maintaining continuous interaction with the design team and clients.
• Draft responses to Requests for Proposals and Requests for Qualifications for various clients and marketing opportunities.
• Mentor and coordinate the work of designers and other technical staff on mechanical or multi-discipline projects.
• Manage and deliver tasks with minimal supervision and guidance.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and designers on diverse projects.
• Build meaningful internal and external professional relationships.
• Work closely with industry-leading professionals, various jurisdictions, and contractors.

Qualifications:

• 5-15+ years of related experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (or ability to obtain within 12 months).
• Proven design experience with HVAC systems and related controls.
• Proven design experience with plumbing systems including water, sewer, and gas.
• Experience producing engineering and energy studies, including comcheck and Title 24.
• Experience mentoring and coordinating the work of EITs, designers, and other technical staff on mechanical or multi-discipline projects.
• Ability to manage and deliver tasks with minimal supervision and guidance.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking ability.
• Ability to work individually or in a multi-discipline team.
