Our client is a well- established small boutique law firm in the Northern Virgina area. They are seeking a Real Estate/Trust and Guardianship Litigation Paralegal to join their team.

They specialize in focus on elder law, estate planning, special needs law, and resolution of disputes involving estate/trust matters, fiduciary duties, and guardianships/conservatorships, as well as other closely related practice areas. Real Estate/Trust and Guardianship Litigation Paralegal
Salary $70-75k+ bonuses based on firm revenue
The Position: The Litigation Paralegal works under the supervision Litigation Attorney, handling matters ranging from factual research, cite checking, acquiring and assembling records, scheduling of court hearings, drafting and coordinating document production. The position is a fulltime and requires substantial client contact in the form of meetings, telephone and Zoom calls, and emails.
This position requires all substantive functions in the litigation practice area that do not require a law degree, including but not limited to organizing and maintaining files (both electronic and paper), and fully utilizing the firm's case and client relationship management system.
Responsibilities include:
• Managing, organizing, and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
• Managing email correspondence for attorneys.
• Coordination of court appearances and hearings for all parties involved.
• Meeting with clients, attorneys and other professionals to talk about case details.
• Drafting simple correspondence, pleadings, petitions, affidavits, motions, briefs, and discovery documents.
• Processing signed documents, overseeing conversion to electronic format, and coordinating their appropriate delivery.
Required: 2 to 4 + years' experience in a litigation department.
