Job Description

ABOUT STUDIO RM

Studio RM is an award-winning colour grading and finishing studio for film, print and digital.

Since 2010, we’ve continued to discover and collaborate with new and established artists that we respect and admire from around the world. Through our trusted relationships and expertise, we offer a high-end, artistic and curated approach; partnering artists and brands with our team across our studios in London, New York and Paris.

Together, we create beautiful work in an environment that is both welcoming and inclusive.

THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced and confident Lead Producer to drive all motion post-production projects out of our NYC studio. This is a senior role at the heart of our motion team — overseeing end-to-end project delivery, cultivating strong client relationships, and upholding the highest creative and operational standards.

As the senior motion producer in NYC, you’ll set the tone for how projects are run: leading with clarity, care, and efficiency. You’ll take full ownership of delivering world-class post-production across color, edit, finishing, and VFX — while also supporting a positive, collaborative studio culture.

We’re seeking someone who thrives in a hands-on leadership role, is passionate about beauty and fashion content, and has a strong understanding of the full motion post-production process. You must be based in NYC and available to work from the studio five days a week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the production and delivery of all motion post-production projects in NYC
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with clients, agencies, directors, and internal teams
  • Coordinate with colorists, editors, online artists, and VFX leads to manage schedules, resources, and deliverables
  • Oversee scopes, timelines, budgets, and delivery plans with precision
  • Act as the senior point of contact for all NYC motion work, ensuring consistency and excellence
  • Troubleshoot issues quickly and calmly to keep projects on track
  • Collaborate with global teams in London and Paris on multi-office projects or shared resources
  • Ensure all projects meet Studio RM’s creative, technical, and operational standards
  • Maintain accurate oversight of project costs and financial tracking

REQUIREMENTS

  • 7–10+ years of experience in post-production, ideally within a creative studio or agency environment
  • Extensive experience working on beauty, fashion, and luxury content
  • Deep understanding of workflows across all motion disciplines — particularly color, editing, and online
  • Proven track record delivering complex post-production projects end-to-end
  • Highly organized, solutions-focused, and comfortable managing multiple projects at once
  • Strong communicator with exceptional client-facing skills
  • Calm under pressure and confident leading teams with warmth and clarity
  • Collaborative, hands-on, and non-hierarchical in working style
  • Must be based in NYC and available to work in-studio five days a week

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Proactive on projects and to the growth of the studio
  • Respectful and supportive to the team, having a collaborative mind-set
  • Being flexible and adaptive to the ever-changing needs of the industry
  • Having a warm, personable manner with a high delivery focus
  • Interested and engaged with film & wider creative culture

HOW WE LOOK AFTER YOU:

  • 15 Days PTO
  • Approved Studio Observance of Public Holidays, including Thanksgiving & Christmas break
  • Health & Dental Insurance Policies
  • 401k (after one-year)
  • Family Policy Scheme – including Parental Leave + Flexible Parental Working Hours (after one-year)
  • Training, development courses & opportunities to grow in the business
  • MoMa Membership (after 3 months)
  • Creative, friendly and inclusive working environment

SALARY: $100-130K per annum (dependant on experience)
