Insurance Agency Customer Service/Office Assistant

Be Well Insurance Solutions is a business-to-business and business-to-consumer insurance agency located in Santa Clara, CA. We provide Individual and Business proposals in the Insurance marketplace and consult with clients to make informed decisions. Be Well Insurance Solutions also offers Employee Health and Wellness programs & services, Business Owner’s, Worker’s Compensation, General and Commercial Liability and various other Business and Personal lines insurance products.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Office Assistant/Insurance CSR role located in Santa Clara, CA. This position will be responsible for assisting the owner with day-to-day business activities, such as, but not limited to: Preparing RFQ's and proposals, following up with carriers, preparing spreadsheets, following up with clients, and various other client needs.

Qualifications

• Insurance Sales and Brokerage skills
• Experience in Finance and Insurance
• Customer Service skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Knowledge of insurance laws and regulations
• Previous experience in the insurance industry is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of personnel and clients
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills, especially in Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and be willing to do what it takes to get the job done and keep the office running.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills,  with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a  fast-paced environment
• A willingness to take training exams as required and put the time in to learn.
• CA Life and Health, Property and Casualty License preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to obtain your license is preferred.
• Team player and willingness to do what is needed above and beyond your job description.

Job Type: Part-time with Growth Potential to Full-time (Base + Incentives and Bonus’s)

License/Certification:

• Insurance Producer License (Preferred)
• Life and Health Insurance License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Santa Clara, CA 95050: Relocate before starting work (Required)
