**Overview** **Pay: $80.00/hr. to $90/hr. (Union Scale) (as listed on the job requisition)** The pay listed is the salary range for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant's experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. **Sign on bonus available** **Employment Type:** Full-Time/Field-Based **Travel:** Required (Company vehicle and fuel card provided) SF Bay Area **Position Overview:** We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced **HVAC & Refrigeration Technician** to perform both preventive and corrective maintenance across a wide range of commercial and industrial systems. This role requires advanced technical knowledge in **chillers, boilers, cooling towers** , and **low-temperature refrigeration systems** , along with the ability to work independently in the field and respond effectively to urgent service needs. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on: + HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and cooling towers + Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and instrumentation systems + Low-temperature refrigeration equipment + Ensure all systems and facilities are maintained to meet operational and safety standards + Respond promptly to emergency service calls, including spills and critical equipment failures + Travel to customer sites to perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine service + Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with all safety protocols **Minimum Qualifications:** + At least **5 years of experience** in HVAC and refrigeration service + Proficiency in servicing **low-temperature refrigeration** , **chillers** , **boilers** , and **cooling towers** + **EPA Universal Certification** (required) + Valid **driver's license** with a clean driving record + Must be **18 years of age or older** + Must meet eligibility requirements for specialized ATS environments (including a 10-year work history, if applicable) **Preferred Qualifications:** + **5+ years of experience** with low-temperature refrigeration systems + **5+ years of commercial HVAC** service experience \#200 REQNUMBER: 93662 ABM is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer qualified applicants without regard race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran or any other protected factor under federal, state, or local law.
