Job Description

Title: Financial Advisor (CFP Required)

Type: Full-time / Perm / Fully On-site

Salary: 125K - $250K/annually, depending on location and experience.

Summary:

Our client is seeking experienced, driven Financial Advisors with the CFP designation to join their rapidly growing wealth management and tax (RIA) firm in several U.S. locations! The firm is currently directing the financial lives of hundreds of high-net-worth individual clients with assets exceeding $3M, advising and developing comprehensive financial plans tailored to their specific needs and goals, including financial, wealth, trust, estate, retirement, insurance, and investment planning for themselves, their families, and their closely held businesses.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional financial planning and advisory services to some of the firm's existing clients and onboard new clients.
  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in business development by driving and closing new business (through referrals and other sources), contributing to the growth of the firm.
  • Integrate the advice of CFAs, CPAs, and JDs into client relationships.
  • Work directly with high-net-worth individual clients with assets exceeding $3M, their families, and their closely held businesses, developing comprehensive financial plans tailored to each client's unique financial situations to meet their long-term financial and investment goals, including trust, estate, retirement, investment, and insurance planning with a strong emphasis on tax-saving strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive financial plans for clients and assist them during all phases of plan implementation.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in wealth management, financial services, and trust and estate planning from a wealth management firm (preferably one of the Big Four Accounting Firms) or professional financial services company.
  • 7+ years of experience working directly with high-net-worth individual clients with assets exceeding $3M, developing comprehensive financial plans tailored to meet their unique financial situations and goals.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in consulting and business development, including contributing to the growth of a firm.
  • Expertise in a wide range of financial areas, including trusts, estates, tax, retirement, insurance, investment, and cash flow/capital needs planning analysis.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a tight-knit team of professionals engaged in various financial and tax-related activities.
