This is a search on behalf the CFO at a reinsurance platform backed by one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers. With over $45 billion in assets under management , the platform has scaled rapidly through flow reinsurance arrangements, organic growth, and strategic acquisitions.

Headquartered across multiple jurisdictions—including Bermuda and the Cayman Islands —the platform plays a critical role in offering capital solutions to insurance companies. It sits at the intersection of insurance, reinsurance, and asset management, providing employees with a rare blend of technical exposure and commercial impact.

The title can be flexible , ranging from senior to manager since there are multiple positions open and they're building out a team.

Who They’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who’s smart, ambitious, and excited to learn a new industry. You might be coming out of Big 4 or a strong regional firm, or already have some private industry experience. You’ll thrive here if you’re naturally curious, detail-oriented, and driven to make an impact early in your career.

• CPA or on track to obtain it
• 3–7 years of experience in public accounting or a public/private mix
• Open to backgrounds outside insurance— this includes broader Financial Services, Oil & Gas, TMT, and or Wealth & Asset Management

Responsibilities (Tailored Based on Level)

Depending on experience, title, and focus area, your responsibilities may include:

• Prepare and support US GAAP financial reporting for the reinsurance entities
• Assist with statutory reporting and compliance requirements in Bermuda and Cayman
• Contribute to SOX compliance in partnership with internal audit
• Support board reporting, group-level financial analysis, and ad hoc presentations
• Help build and improve financial processes, controls, and tools as the platform scales
• Collaborate with external auditors, offshore teams, and senior management
