Job Description

Salary: $56,160 - 94,540 per year Requirements:

  • I hold a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or I possess an equivalent combination of education and ERP experience within a food manufacturing setting.
  • I have more than 18 months of experience in a food production environment and over 6 months of supervisory experience in the food manufacturing sector.
  • I have a strong understanding of the Sage X3 ERP system or similar ERP platforms that include finance, inventory management, procurement, and production planning modules.
  • I possess hands-on experience with ERP implementation, customization, and maintenance, which is highly regarded.
  • I have basic knowledge of Power BI, which is a plus.
  • I have a fundamental understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain management, environmental health and safety, and OSHA regulations.
  • I have proficient computer skills, particularly in select Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and I am capable of learning custom applications.
  • I understand financials and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
  • I work well with others and am self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • I can accommodate a flexible schedule based on the facility's requirements, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
  • I excel in building strong partnerships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • I collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance the efficiency, quality, and accuracy of ERP master data.
  • I continually evaluate product data through exception reports to maintain ERP data quality and integrity, identifying any issues and communicating with all relevant departments.
  • I engage in the change order process and new product introductions, taking charge of ERP-related activities.
  • I provide input and guidance on the most effective ways to structure change requests related to the release and maintenance of data in the ERP system.
  • I offer ERP training and support for production, inventory, and quality control team members.
  • I ensure that ERP supports full product traceability and enables rapid response for auditing requirements.
  • I participate in ongoing cycle counting and annual inventory audits, reporting on any discrepancies.
  • I generate and report on inventory control metrics, such as actual versus theoretical usage, including stockouts and cycle count accuracy.
  • I support the implementation of our manufacturing processes and systems and work collaboratively with Facility Leadership to meet kitchen operations and related needs.
  • I create reports that aid Facility Leadership in making informed decisions.
  • I ensure data accuracy and compliance with food safety regulations within the ERP environment.
  • I become a subject matter expert on the ERP system, comprehending its configurations, modules, and best practices.
  • I maintain a comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory rules and standards, including OSHA, USDA, State Department of Agriculture, HACCP, FSMA, ADA, Department of Labor, Health and Sanitation regulations, FDA, and Weights and Measures.
  • I cultivate and maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with Store Support teams and Operational Areas backed by Facility Leadership.

The salary range for this position is $27.00 to $45.50 per hour, depending on experience. At Whole Foods Market, I have access to “Whole Benefits,” which may include health insurance, retirement plans, eligibility for store discounts, paid time off, and other benefit programs. Eligibility for Whole Benefits is determined based on the guidelines of the relevant plan as of the date of hire.
