Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers and refrigerated trailers, to deliver freight efficiently and on time. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate various road conditions.

Duties

Operate trucks, including tractor-trailers and dump trucks, in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Transport freight to designated locations while ensuring timely delivery.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
Utilize manual transmission as required for specific vehicles.
Assist in loading and unloading freight using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
Adhere to all company policies regarding safety, maintenance, and operational procedures.

Experience

Proven experience as a Truck Driver with a valid commercial driving license (CDL).
Experience driving refrigerated trailers is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with operating dump trucks and handling freight is a plus.
Strong understanding of truck driving regulations and safety protocols.
Ability to drive long distances and work flexible hours as needed.
Experience with manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
