Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Director of Finance to lead all financial operations for our hospitality organization. This role plays a critical part in driving financial performance, optimizing cost efficiency, and ensuring fiscal integrity across our properties.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and compliance, while supporting operational leaders with insights that drive profitability and long - term success.

• Oversee all financial functions including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and reporting across one or more hospitality properties.
• Partner with General Managers, Operations, and Executive Leadership to align financial planning with business objectives.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate financial health and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes; ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.
• Manage vendor contracts, capital expenditures, and cost-control initiatives to improve margins.
• Supervise the finance/accounting team, providing training and development to ensure excellence.
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior finance leadership role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of hotel/resort financial metrics, revenue management, and operational finance.
• Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Restaurant 365, etc.) and Excel.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and work cross-functionally with multiple departments.
