Job Description

Responsibilities:

The desired candidate will provide critical support to the legal and investor relations functions. Specifically, the Corporate Paralegal (TEMP) shall:

• Provide administrative support to the legal team, including senior leadership.
• Enhance record-keeping for client and vendor contracts, including but not limited to:
• Documenting within Excel and/or Smartsheet.
• Transferring into Cobblestone and Tandem systems.
• Drafting and mailing notices.
• Assist with maintaining standard form contracts with clients, vendors, and other third parties.
• Maintain corporate legal files and original documents.
• Provide administrative support for the annual Proxy, including preparing the draft, individual proxy ballots, and related mailing, while tabulating and managing received votes.
• Conduct legal research and drafting as needed.
• Support special projects as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with BSA/AML/OFAC-related laws and regulations applicable to this position, including completing required training.

Qualifications:

• One (1)+ years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm required; three (3)+ years preferred.
• Associate degree or certificate in paralegal studies recommended.
• Proven ability to solve problems, with strong strategic and conceptual skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail paired with excellent analytical and multitasking skills in fast-paced environments.
• Strong organizational abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey strategies and tactics to various stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to interact productively with colleagues and management.
• Discretion and strict adherence to maintaining proprietary and confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
