Description Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst - Retail Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid - 2-3 days onsite per week) Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience (targeting$120K - $130K) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, discretionary bonus, employee discounts We are looking for a highly motivated Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring seamless processes and effective system functionality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly within the retail and eCommerce sectors. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements, translating them into actionable technical solutions. - Utilize Snowflake to perform advanced queries and support data-driven decision making. - Analyze end-to-end business processes, ensuring system efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. - Manage and refine workflows using Jira and other ticketing platforms to track and prioritize tasks effectively. - Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions. - Develop detailed documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), to support project objectives. - Facilitate agile practices, such as backlog grooming and sprint planning, to enhance team productivity. - Support CRM systems and ensure their alignment with business processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and optimization of business systems. - Monitor and test system functionality, conducting AB testing and validating ETL processes as needed. Requirements - A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in retail or eCommerce industries. - Proficiency in querying databases using Snowflake and working with tools such as Looker. - Strong knowledge of Jira or similar ticketing systems, along with agile methodologies. - Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams. - Experience with CRM systems and their integration into business workflows. - Familiarity with SQL queries, ETL processes, and data analysis techniques. - Ability to perform gap analysis and propose actionable solutions. - Solid understanding of business process functions and documentation practices.
