Avg. Earnings: $60,000 - $150,000 (Base + Bonus)

Position Overview

As a Business Development Representative at Frendly, you'll be a key player in originating loans and showcasing why Frendly is the premier choice for both customers and referral partners. With access to industry-leading technology and a sophisticated sales tech stack, you’ll have all the tools you need to thrive. Success in this role requires impeccable time management, clear and persuasive communication, and a quick-learning mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect & Manage Referral Accounts: Identify, engage, and convert new referral accounts (including Realtors), ensuring they have a seamless experience and make the most of Frendly's cutting-edge tools and culture.
  • Lead Generation & Conversion: Convert purchase and refinance leads into quality loan applications through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Pre-Qualify Potential Customers: Work directly with potential customers to gather essential information and determine their mortgage loan eligibility.
  • Prepare Loan Applications: Assist in the loan origination process by collecting necessary documentation and preparing files for review by a Senior Loan Officer.
  • Database Management: Maintain a clean and active lead/client database, leveraging existing relationships to generate new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the mortgage industry as a Loan Originator or Loan Officer Assistant.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education is a plus.
  • Current NMLS license is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor both on the phone and in person.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and other technology essential for task efficiency.
  • A strong work ethic with a willingness to take accountability.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a readiness to learn quickly.

Work Environment

This is an in-person role set in a standard office environment. Most duties are performed at a desk, with occasional physical tasks that may require lifting 20 pounds or more.
