The Business Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets while maintaining strong customer relationships.
This role involves business development, client support, and market analysis to drive growth and enhance customer satisfaction within the East Coast region of the United States.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales
Management:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while strengthening existing client relationships.
Client Support & Relationship Management:
Oversee customer support operations to ensure high satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, providing exceptional service and tailored solutions.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and improve service offerings.
Develop and implement regional strategies in alignment with DPBio’s overall business objectives.
Customer Engagement & Business Development:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Conduct regular client meetings and reviews to understand needs and enhance service delivery.
Identify and pursue business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion initiatives.
Sales Reporting & Process Improvement:
Prepare and present reports on sales performance, customer support metrics, and market developments.
Use data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in sales and support operations.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Business, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and customer support, preferably in the biotechnology or life sciences industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing customer relationships.
Strong technical knowledge of antibody screening technology and bioanalytical instruments.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
Physical & Job Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, and move items weighing 50+ lbs.Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.Frequent use of hands for computer work, phone calls, and pipetting.Must pass a health screening.
