Job Title: Assistant General Manager – Casual, Fun Mexican Restaurant

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead our team and support day-to-day operations.

Position Overview:

As Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining a vibrant and welcoming guest experience while ensuring smooth back-of-house and front-of-house operations. This position supports the General Manager in driving team performance, maintaining operational excellence, and creating a positive, energetic culture that reflects our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations
• Lead, coach, and motivate front- and back-of-house staff
• Ensure high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer service
• Help manage scheduling, labor costs, and inventory
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and positivity
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for both guests and staff
• Assist in staff training, development, and performance reviews
• Take initiative in identifying and solving operational challenges

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant (casual or fast casual preferred)
• A hands-on, team-first approach with strong leadership skills
• High energy, outgoing personality, and a passion for hospitality
• Experience with inventory, scheduling, and staff management
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
