**Job Title: Aircraft Mechanic - Medford, OR** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team responsible for repairing and rigging/installing flight controls, as well as repairing and installing interior assemblies and furnishings on S64 heavy-lift helicopters. This role involves working as part of full rebuilds and heavy checks in an MRO environment. **Responsibilities** + Receive task card in the morning and review blueprints and documents for scheduled inspection activities. + Select tooling from tool crib or personal toolbox. + Perform repairs and installs using hand tools, power tools, micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges. + Coordinate with Quality leadership and mechanics to determine follow-up repairs as needed. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience. + A&P license or experience with heavy-lift or firefighting helicopters (preferably both). + Proficiency in aviation, aircraft maintenance, and repair, specifically with flight controls and interiors. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with S64, S-64, S70, or S-70 helicopters. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a day shift schedule with weekdays only, providing a manageable cost of living. Enjoy access to a very advanced electronic tool crib. The day shift runs from 0600 to 1630, Monday through Thursday, with an early finish on Fridays at 1430, typically totaling 44 to 48 hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CENTRAL POINT, Oregon. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $42.00/hr.
